Original Emirates ID or Passport is accepted for IELTS registration and test day. The same ID used during registration must be presented on test day.

Yes, the Listening, Reading, and Writing tests are completed on the same day. For the paper-based test, the Speaking test may be scheduled on the same day or up to 7 days before or one day after the written test, depending on availability.

Yes, headphones are provided at all CERT test centers to ensure clarity during the Listening section.

You need to bring:

All personal belongings, including electronic devices, must be stored in the secure room before entering the exam room.

Yes. You must use a black pen for the Listening, Reading and Writing sections.

Yes, you are allowed to underline text and make notes directly on your question papers, these papers are not marked.

The Speaking test may be held on the same day as your other test components or on a different day, either before or after the main test. Your test confirmation email will include exact details.

You only need the original ID (Emirates ID or Passport) used during registration. Dress neatly and arrive on time.

Yes, you can request to reschedule or cancel your test. Please submit your request at least 5 days in advance. Administration fees will apply depending on the situation. Check our rescheduling and cancellation policy here.

If you miss your test due to illness, submit a medical certificate within 5 working days to be eligible for a partial refund or Test date transfer. Candidates who are absent without valid documentation will be marked as absent and will not be eligible for a refund or test date transfer.

CERT provides a range of accommodation including extra time and modified materials. Please contact us at least 6 weeks before your test date to arrange suitable support.

For IELTS on Paper, results are available 13 calendar days after the test.
For IELTS on Computer, results are released 3 to 5 days after the test.

You will receive a notification email once your results are ready.

Test Report Forms must be collected in person from the Centre. Please bring your original ID document to collect your Test report Form from the Centre.
